This rare item made of wood is a Gibson string display from the 30s till 40s.
Advertised as a dealer item from 1937 till 1942
It is supposed to be placed on music shop counter. Front with Gibson logo on the customer’s side and back on the dealer’s side.
Back can be opened to fill in or get string packs.
This display has been replaced in the 50s by a similar one with glass front.
