1974 all original blond telecaster
We are pleased to offer a beautiful, lightweight, original 1974 Fender Telecaster in its classic Blond finish.
This guitar is all original and in excellent condition, with no replaced parts, modifications or refinishing. The ash body retains its original Blond finish, complemented by a maple neck with its original frets, which still have plenty of life left in them. The original electronics and tuning machines remain in place, making this a particularly appealing example for players and collectors alike.
The guitar's identifying details provide further insight into its history. The serial number is xxx and the potentiometer date code reads 304 7440, identifying a Stackpole potentiometer from week 40 of 1974.
The neck heel stamp reads 1303 4941. This code breaks down as follows: 13 indicates the regular Telecaster model, 03 identifies the maple fingerboard configuration, 49 refers to week 49, 4 indicates the year 1974, and 1 represents Monday. Based on this interpretation, the neck stamp corresponds to Monday, December 2, 1974.
Taken together, the potentiometer and neck dates place this instrument firmly in late 1974.
This is a wonderful opportunity to own an authentic, all-original Fender Telecaster from one of the most recognisable periods in the model's history. Lightweight, beautifully preserved and complete with its original bridge cover and hard case, it represents a fine example of Fender's timeless design. Whether you are a dedicated collector or simply looking for a great vintage Telecaster to play, this instrument has plenty to offer.
