Rare to find 1968 Gibson ES335-12 in sunburst color and one piece neck! It has the typical Gibson "boob logo" on the pickguard (hardly visible) feature only available in 1968.
A 12-string version of the ES335 was introduced in 1965 at the height of the popularity of the 12-string guitars. Just think about the Byrds with the Rickenbacker model or Pete Townshend with the Fender Electric XII. Gibson ES335-12 were produced in small quantity until 1970.
The ES335-12 is basically a ES335 with bigger headstock (and bigger headstock inlay), custom bridge and enlarged tailpiece.
Guitar is all original with a crack repair close to the tone knob but it is perfectly stable.
It is equipped with original patent number pickups with original soldering.
This one plays like a dream and comes with original Gibson case in rough but stable condition.
