Everyone wants a '59 Gibson single-cut, right? Here's one that won't break the bank! This 1959 Gibson Melody Maker 3/4 exudes charm, and its comfortable short-scale feel is irresistible.

The 3/4 Melody Maker is a student-size model with a body/neck joint at the 12th fret and a short scale of 22 3/4 inches. Melody Maker models, both long and short scale, were introduced in 1959. Initially, they featured only one pickup, with a two-pickup version introduced in 1960.

- 1959-1961: Single cut (one pickup only in 1959)
- 1961-1966: Double cut
- 1966-1971: SG body style

The body and neck are made of mahogany, and the fretboard is Brazilian rosewood. This 1959 Melody Maker 3/4 is in excellent original condition. The only non-original part is the MojoAxe compensated wraparound bridge, which is aluminum. Everything else, including the tuners, pickup, pots, and paint, is original and in very good condition.

It comes with the original Alligator case, which is in good condition. The original, powerful pickup located close to the bridge delivers a warm and hot sound, making this small guitar as potent as many larger ones.

- Pickup: Single coil (7.25k Ohms)
- Pots: Original CTS volume & Centralab tone (both dated 1959)
- Case: Original Gibson Alligator case
- Serial: 924825
