This Gibson 1966 ES335TD is not simply a great mid 60s hollowbody Gibson guitar but it also belonged to the late John Miles and has been played live hundred times.
John Miles is well known for his international hit "Music" but also for writing and playing with Jimmy Page, playing on tour with Tina Tuner, Joe Cocker and being one of the leader of "Night of the proms".
This is the guitar he used live during the 2000 Tina Turner (Twenty Four Seven Tour) and that you can see on the One Last Time Live in Concert DVD shot in Wembley in July 2000. A copy of the DVD will be included in the lot.
This guitar was acquired by John Miles in the 90s and was in his possession until he passed away and then kept by his family until they entrusted it to us.
It sounds great (John Miles wouldn't use an average quality guitar for a Tina Turner tour) and is all original with Patent number pickups. It had a very old neck stress repaired, so old the paint has already aged gently.
Comes with a 90s Gibson case, Tina Turner tour DVD and a certificate from his son John Jr.
