Offering a 1979 Gibson Super V CES in excellent condition.

Introduced to the Gibson catalog in 1978, the Super V CES stands out as a splendid archtop model. Combining the intricate detailing of a Super 400 neck with a large headstock featuring diamond inlays on both sides, it boasts a maple neck complemented by an ebony fingerboard adorned with parallelogram inlays.

However, its distinguishing feature is its 17-inch L5 type body, making it both luxurious in appearance and easier to play.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this premium model features a carved solid spruce top and maple back and sides. Equipped with two humbuckers and adorned with gold hardware, it delivers exceptional tone and performance.

What sets the Super V CES apart is its micro-adjustable "fingers" tailpiece, allowing for precise adjustment of each string individually.

Produced from 1978 to 1985, this particular piece is an early example from a limited production run.

Includes its original Gibson hardshell case.
